    A Running Breakthrough

    Finally sub 10 minutes!

I have a mile loop that I run in the mornings.

    First loop 10 minutes flat.
    Second loop - 9:54
    Third loop - 9:40

Usually my first loop is the fastest and the last loop (sometimes I do 4) is the second fastest.

It's the first time I've averaged less than ten minutes since I started running 18 months ago. I guess the stars were aligned just right. They were pretty at 5:15 AM.

What a great way to start the day!

Yeah, I'm pretty euphoric still. I gushed about it to my students first thing this morning.

    Congratulations - that is wonderful!
Doesn't it feel great to accomplish what you've been striving for?

And, congratulations on having the motivation to do it at 5:15 in the morning!

That's just a fantastic feeling when you have a quantifiable validation of your hard work and training. Congratulations! I hope the stars are just as beautiful for you tomorrow.
