I was showing off for DH on the tight banked curves at the local mt bike park a little too fast. I slid and crashed on my side. My front wheel isn't taco-ed, just dorito-ed beyond truing. I guess I'll be buying a new front wheel for my specialized Myka (with disc brakes). It's hard to imagine how I bent the wheel. I wasn't going really super fast, and it wasn't downhill slamming to a stop. I only weigh 104 lbs, so it wasn't my huge weight. The rest of me is pretty ok, a skinned elbow,pulled groin,a shiner on my hip and the physical therapist got my back into alignment again this am. Darn! Tokie
