These threads just make me more convinced to hold onto my hybrid whenever I move on to a road bike I really do think I'd miss it if I didn't have it, even though there are lots of times when I know I'd really prefer a roadie

I sold my first roadie to buy my nice carbon one, then realized I regretted not having two bikes when one is in the shop! So when I got my new mountain bike I kept my old one, no making that mistake again!

Great find and purple sounds pretty, got pics?

    Nice find.

Yippee!! Sounds really pretty and perfectly suited for you!
I, too, have made that mistake. Wish I'd held onto the old bikes I've sold. Oh well- means one day I can get a 4th bike.

Keep it! It's always nice to have a guest bike.

Last night my friend popped in from out of town, and since it was a full-ish moon we thought it would be lovely to ride around the area. A few adjustments to my old mountain bike, and we were able to paint the town red, girls-on-bikes night out style.

Also we saw Whip It. Uber power girls' night out.

I just purchased my first road bike. I had been riding a mtn bike for everything. and as I wait the arrival of my road bike, I am a little sad because that mtn bike had been there for it all and now I will have to pick between the 2. I hate to leave the mtn. bike home when it has enjoyed so many rides with me....

Sounds crazy I know, but I get attached to my stuff.

I tried to upload this pic yesterday, but it was too big. I'm trying again. The sparkly purple color is a little washed out, although you can see that the bottle cage is purple....My old hybrid was a Trek Fx 7.3, but it was actually too large for me, so this is better. I rode it yesterday to have lunch with a friend.
