You can stick gels just under the leg grippers on your shorts. They will feel a little cold and clammy against your skin at first, but you'll get used to it.

What about a stem bag? Like a Bento.. or similar.. Walmart even has one that is like $9 if you wanted to try to find one before your ride.
If you have two water bottle cages, you can put them in an empty water bottle. Although, for a ride that long, you probably want all the water you can carry.
When I am out running i shove hammer gels in my sports bra.
I stash stuff in my bra on long mtn bike events/rides![]()

A small fanny pack isn't too noticeable on a ride. I'll use one when the weather's supposed to be really changeable, to carry a layer or two more than I can stow on my body.

I use Hammergel in their little flask, in a holder designed for it that velcros to the toptube. A stem box would work also and be a bit more flexible-you can put energy bars and gu packets in there.
Frankly, every time I see a jersey at the LBS without 3 good sized pockets I go, 'gee how nice' and put it back on the rack. There are plenty of jerseys out there with pockets so I see no reason to suffer without. On long rides, I always carry a banana back there and stuff a few Luna Moons or an energy bar in as well. I can't imagine not having them on a long ride.
