    Patrick Dempsey has "Cyclist Tan"!

I was watching an old Grey's Anatomy on Lifetime. They showed Patrick Dempsey without a shirt on briefly. I immediately noticed the tan line from a shirt sleeve, but then backed it up and paused it to see the tan line from his glove. I totally cracked up! Patrick Dempsey has cyclist tan!

I know he is way into cycling, so it only makes sense the sleeve and glove line would be from that. This episode was from a few years ago, when he was newer at riding. No telling how bad his tan is now if he hasn't been careful to use sunscreen .. and even so .. it's almost impossible to avoid. Believe me, I try.

Not just a cyclist - he has a charity ride in Maine to benefit a cancer center he helped start. I believe his mother is a breast cancer survivor. http://dempseychallenge.org/ The ride is this weekend and he's scheduled to ride it too, as are DZ and Big George. Wouldn't mind being there myself.
You too can help me fight cancer, and get a lovely cookbook for your very own! My team's cookbook is for sale Click here to order. Proceeds go to our team's fundraising for the Philly Livestrong Challenge!

Yea, nice tan lines for Patrick lol. Sure, let's see em again.

Gheez, I am so fair. I wear 70spf sunblock. I *still* get lines. I disappeared from the gym in the summer for outdoors. I showed to teach my spin classes and that was it. My outdoor riding lines gave away my wearabouts since the spin shorts are shorter.

He was on the cover of Bicycling a few months back. Most exceptional photos. I think I could be persuaded to do one of his charity rides. Do you think he would mind if I drafted off of him?

    LOL... so true.

Those pictures Zen linked are in Santa Monica!!! And I recognize that area!

So what you're saying is that at any moment, while I'm biking in my 'hood, I could get dropped by Patrick Dempsey???

    *swoon*

Anyway, linking an interview where he talks about cycling:

Ooo!!! What a nice view THAT would be! Oh don't even let me go there. I already have a VERY nice view whenever I ride behind my husband. He's my McDreamy.

Wait a sec. What is he doing in picture three? He's like, sitting on the toptube. Or resting. Kinda ew.

And what's with the head to toe coverage? Is it cold in Santa Monica?
I can do five more miles.
