Just putting a reminder out there for all who may be interested. Should be a clear, cool evening ... great for a ride on the paved W&OD Trail.

Do you know whether there is parking at the store? If I did this -- and I'm very tempted, I must say! -- I'd be coming from work.

Yes, there is a parking lot at the store.--at Bikes@Vienna, that is. I don't know about the Tuscon one.

Oooh, I rode there in April and it was wonderful. I bet an almost-full-moon ride would be really fun there (and there is a parking lot there, too, come to think of it)

I hope you're able to make it. Catriona may come, too, depending on how much work has accumulated during her two days out of the office.

I did this ride last year and it was nice. Wear your wool, looks like the temps will be in the mid-40's.

Ugh. I'm not going to make this ride tonight; too much responsible adult stuff to take care of!

Sorry to hear that. Responsible adult stuff gets in the way of play time.

Same with me, I'm proofing a manuscript. Comma rules are driving me nuts, but got a number of pages to go and the publisher needs it tomorrow.

Great ride this evening. Couldn't have asked for better weather ... clear skies and the temp was moderate. Starting off, though, I got a flat tire about 1 mile from Bikes at Vienna on a dark part of the W&OD trail. Fortunately John Brunow, the owner of the shop was riding sweep and quickly replaced my tube; I was good to go after that. We caught up with the other 10 or so people and had a nice ride to Reston Town Center then back to Vienna.

I took the Bike Friday New World Tourist, still need to work on the Ruby's front tire. Fortunately the flat on my BF was a front tire which made it an easier fix.

On the ride there was one tandem road bike, one tandem recumbent, two hybrids, my BF, four single trikes and a tandem trike. Nice turn out.
