    Hooray - First Ride!

Well, I did it. I went for my first ride this morning after 9 months off following the Christmas Eve disaster. I was pretty wobbly to start with - but once I stopped anticipating disaster and settled down, I chugged along the bike path very steadily for about an hour.

It was great - I didn't want to go home, but I knew that if I kept going for too long all those bits and pieces that haven't been used for months would complain very loudly tomorrow.

I took out the solid workhorse mountain bike - the road bike is a write-off after the crash. But it was good fun. So looking forward to heading out again tomorrow!

    Thanks

Thanks CC. I was pretty chuffed when I got home. Now I just have to avoid the magpies and all will be well.

    birdies

I've not been divebombed by any magpies this year *phew*! I hear them all the time on my dirt rides & often yell "aaagrrrrrrrrrhhh" to ensure they don't come near me. I hate their *squaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack* sound

    Anywho, enjoy Spring!!!
