I've done the ride several times and would be doing it this year if I wasn't so busy with moving/getting my old house ready to go on the market. It's a nice ride, especially if the weather cooperates. My only criticism of the ride is that they use white painted ghosts as Dan Henrys. IMO, they're too little, hard to see, and too close to the intersections. It's easy to get lost. When I mark the ride I host for my local club, I put at least one Dan Henry a hundred to two hundred yards back from the intersection, one at the intersection and one after the interesection. The first year I did the ride, some of the people at one of the SAGS joked that you haven't really done the ride until you've gotten lost on it. I didn't think the joke was all that funny.

So, I'd encourage you to do the ride, but be sure to carry a map.
Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.
