Congratulations on your first one! And oh, baby, look at that surf...
Really---sounds like it went quite well. Isn't it nice to know now you can do it?

"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." O. Sacks
Way to go!Man, I'd have been terrified to get in that water. And it looks so cold!

AWESOME!!!! Way to go!!!Sounds like a GREAT race- and you look so happy. I'm proud you were able to run at all considering the butt chomp you suffered a couple weeks ago.
And yeah, that ocean picture scares the beejeebers out of me, and I didn't even have to swim in it. I can't imagine heading into those waves.
Hey wait- you're not a fat bottomed girl at all.![]()

Congrats on your first tri; sounds like you had a good plan and that it worked well.
I'm thinking about an ocean swim tri next year and your picture with the surf scares me!
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...
