I use this Clarins sunscreen when I do outdoor sports in the winter (when it's colder & drier and my skin is drier):

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/produc...ategoryId=2082
("Sun Wrinkle Control Cream SPF 30").

I have acne prone skin and this does not break me out. It is mineral-based rather than chemical, so it does leave a little "glowy" finish that you may or may not like (my skin is combination also and can be a little oily sometimes, and I still don't feel like this makes me too shiny). The base is more moisturizing than what I usually wear in warmer weather, but it's great either in the winter or other times of year when my skin is feeling irritated and sensitive (sometimes if my skin is going through a fussy phase, chemical sunscreen stings when I put it on; this never stings and feels kind of comforting).

It gets odd reviews on Sephora, I guess if I hadn't used it before the review might scare me off a little -- but it has worked well for me. I will note that it is a little perfumy (smells like roses). I like it but if you are sensitive to frangranced products it might bother you.

I also like this SPF 30 day cream by Murad, but it's pricey (to me):

It's very moisturizing yet not heavy or greasy. I can even wear it in the summer, although I usually choose something a bit lighter.
