5 pretty easy miles yesterday, just to break in the new watch. Yay!

Did a short run last night. I'm taking a few days off. My feet have been really tender in the AM. I'm worried I might have plantar fasciitis. Doctor appt. on Monday.

I managed to get in about 4.5 miles between heavy rain showers this morning. Due to the rain, I went without my glasses-- and it was dark out too. I stuck to a very familiar route, but it was still kinda freaky, not really being able to see where I was going. It might be time to check out the treadmills over at my local (and free) community center...
5 miles on a full stomach. Felt tight blah, but I didn't mind because the weather was beautiful and I know these *perfect* days are nearing their end...
6mi run home after training Brazilian jiu-jitsu tonight. It went well. Especially the last 4miles. I noticed about 1/2 way through that since I've been trying the barefoot running off & on since August, that I don't heel strike nearly as bad in my Mizunos. I'm also wearing Injinji socks instead of Tekos. Very encouraged by this!![]()

I went for an easy 5 Tuesday, trying out my new watch and also a pair of Injinji socks I just got. Loved the way they felt on my toes, but started to get the beginning of the old hot spot on one arch. I think I just can't run in anything but wool... and no one around here stocks the wool Injinjis. I might have to mail order a pair or two.
