I think this is the route, but we had to make some modifications as I recall.

Sat 9/26 (would take some quick planning)- KD

Does anyone else have Monday, October 12 off (Columbus Day)? Is that a possibility?

I can go either way, ranger-led or on our own. Not sure how big the crowd would be on the ranger tour.
