Waaaahhhhh.... I am so, so tired of this rain in Atlanta area!! All this week I drove to work in it, drove home in it, then I look at my bike on the trainer and just wish I was outside!! Enough is enough !!!!

I can send you some of my weather. It's been clear and sunny all week. Too bad I don't have time to ride in it, and now I have a cold.

Well, I did an hour on the trainer... got off and rested, ate, hoping the rain would stop and I could get in a short ride. Doesn't look like it's going to, though... still raining!!

I just watched the video called Bicycle Dreams documenting a RAAM: http://bicycledreamsmovie.com/ - it is so emotional and moving... makes me wish even more to get out on my bike. I can't imagine riding for 8 or 9 days with less than 12 hours sleep!!

Yeah, I am over the rain too. It rained all week here, stopped yesterday and I don't think it rained much on me yesterday night. No sun yet, but at least it quit raining.

It's been raining here too... I haven't gotten a good ride in a week! Was supposed to do a century today in Anniston, but uh heck no! Not in this mess.

Are you serious? Here, when it doesn't rain for a month or so, I already miss it. Go figure.

I too live in Atlanta and it looks like we are in for another week of rain. I think it is time for me to buy a trainer. Any recommendations?

Looks like it's headed our way (DC metro area), unfortunately. We've had a lot of rain this year (or it seems like it).

Ah, it's finally raining here now. We've desperately needed it.

Extra bonus points to the universe for raining now instead of on my tough ride yesterday. And hopefully it'll be out of its system in time for my even tougher ride next weekend.

    I have a CycleOps trainer: http://www.performancebike.com/bikes..._400006_400006

I suppose there are others, and probably some cheaper, but I don't know if they are all "good" or not. I like the CycleOps because it works with my Garmin - I can pick up my power tap, cadence, etc. on the trainer. I'm not sure they all do that or if you need it to.

I think the best on the market is the Kurt Kinetic Pro Trainer, but you can't go wrong with any of the other models.
