No change for me this week - which is actually a good thing if you saw my 'what I ate today' posts!

I *did* see your posts on the other thread. You're killing me!! Cinnamon chip scones are my FAVORITE thing to eat from Panera. Soooo yummy, bested only by the cinnamon chip scones they make at Great Harvest. I have to stay away from that place, because once I'm inside the door, this invisible force guides me to the counter and places an order for a scone against my will.

Great Harvest? Never been there...I think I need to pay them a visit!

Honestly, I really, really need to break the Panera habit. Ugh!

They are in the same shopping center as Trader Joes's on 185th street. They have fantastic bread too. Better than Panera, IMHO.

Of course I looked them up after I saw your last post! I might have to make a trip down there after work today. I've actually had their bread before because they provided free loaves to riders at the finish line of my MS150 back in NC...but I've never been to a store. I had no idea that they did other baked goods! Yum!

I am so lucky to have a great friend as a baker! I get free fresh scones, loaves of bread, cookies for my dd . . . . I love her vanilla challa and "gouda for what ales you" bread. MMmmmm. And all of it is made from local and organic ingredients!

You *are* lucky. I love the "gouda for what ails you" name.

I've just bought the artisan bread book everyone keeps talking about on the bread baking thread. I'm through Chapter 5. Hope to get started baking in the next couple of weeks. I looooooooove fresh bread!

Possegal - I won't be posting a weight this Friday. I'll be out of town. Hopefully by *next* Friday I can work off any damage I do during my trip.
