L: 1 hamburger, few pieces of roasted potato, cucumbers and tomato slices
Snack: Heath candy bar
D: roasted chicken, risotto with summer squash, sweet peppers, onions and parmesan, 1 dark beer
Today:
B: egg white omelet with a bit of garlic chicken sausage, 1 slice sprouted grain toast, skim milk, coffee
S: 1/2 small granola bar
L: 1 cup turkey chili, roasted veggies (both leftovers from last night)
S: other half of granola bar
D: Roasted chicken breast sandwich with sprouted wheat bread
1 hour CHILLY bike ride
S: don't know yet...but I need something warm to drink.
Catrin, considering how often I eat out and cook, it's amazing my weight stays fairly stable. It's all about the exercise for me, although I know others will say no. I really don't eat anything bad, but I do have to watch the carbs.
I'm at my class. The drive here was awful...

1/2 of steamed rice (I work in a thai kitchen... it's easy)
lunch:
stir-fried veggies and tofu
1 Vietnamese spring roll (rice paper filled with fresh veggies and herbs, not fried)
afternoon snack:
muffin... yum
dinner:
2 scrambled eggs with some random fridge veggies thrown in
(onion, tomato, kale, parsley, green beans, celery greens)
I only cycled to work this morning, about 3.5 miles, because the wind has been just terrible today.![]()

I was hardly hungry all day so I had to force myself to eat. I guess that's what happens when you spend the whole day on the couch!

D: friends 50th birthday party: 2 glasses white wine, a few crackers and cheese, quarter of a rosemary crusted chicken breast, one lamb burger (no bun) on a tomato with yogurt/mint sauce, salad with wine vinegar, asparagus, slice of chocolate ice cream cake

D: steak, snow crab legs, grilled shrimp and mixed veggies

B: steel cut oats with a couple of almonds, a bit of PB, egg whites + 1 egg, skim milk & coffee
1hour 15 minute hard workout (it was for "fun" and was just wild). Apparently my hip flexor is happy with anything outside of running - not the slightest twinge otherwiseResisted the desire to take the equally hard advanced Bosu class afterwards...I doubt I really had the energy anyway - it was pretty intense.
S: small Muscle Milk drink
L: A bit of watermelon and a wrap that uses seasoned lamb/beef with a few tomatoes and tahini sauce - yummy! This was at a local middle eastern festival.
S: a bit less than 1/2 cup Blue Bell ice cream
D: sauteed cho fun? (looks like a small bok choy but a bit peppery, and I probably have the name wrong), with brown rice and chicken breast. Skim milk. One beer shortly

L: ham and Swiss on spelt roll, apple
31 mile ride, drank a bottle of Nuun and half a water bottle, ate a couple of dried apricots and half a Luna bar
D: at friend's house. 5 whole wheat type crackers, cheese, salsa, salmon cooked in parchment w/veggies, whole wheat cous cous, salad, one beer, small slice of angel food cake w/ a scoop of ice cream, raspberries, drizzle of chocolate sauce

3 dried apricots, handful of walnuts before boot camp
B: egg whites, scrambled with zucchini, kale, an orange, coffee
L: chicken salad, an apple
D: went out with friend. we shared an antipasti plate (meats, orzo, lots of veggies) and bowl of Italian wedding soup
Tuesday:
B: chicken breast on sliced tomatoes, melted low fat swiss cheese, blueberries, avocado, coffee
S: nuts, cranberries, chocolate bits
L: finished the chicken salad, an apple
It's a rest day, but I walked 3 miles with a client
S: slice of Ezekial raisin bread
D: 2 very thin pork chops with chili rub, mashed butternut squash, glass of red wine

B: veggie/sausage frittata, 1/2 apple
L: bone broth with arm roast, a bit of pulled chicken (from neck bones - much better than I thought it would be), veggies
S: macadamia nuts, dried unsweetened dark cherries
45 minute easy trainer session
D: 1 egg + 1 yolk poached in chicken bone broth with spices, roasted kale and parsnips.
