    hmm I think mayqueen is a recreational rider and not a racer in the making, at least not yet.

    My only advice is ride at a speed that feels comfortable. If she rides often enough, her speed will comeup without even realizing it. Ride fast enough where you can maintain balance, fast enough that you get a good workout.
