Great job! I wish we had a tri around here that had a trail run but still on-road biking--that would be the kind I might be interested in doing.

Funny how in the middle it's "why in the world am I doing this, I am not having fun" and yet when it's over you look forward to next time!

(Not speaking from tri experience but from my crazy blistering epic mountain bike rides.)

That's so true. And even tho it's hard and you're hurting- it's still so incredibly fun that I wouldn't want to be doing anything else at that moment. That's the warped and sadistic fun of self-torture (er- I mean: exercising).

I agree Tri Girl! No matter what you feel like, it is soooo much fun! The song that is always in my head is "LOVIN EVERY MINUTE OF IT"! Sounds like you did amazing with all the wet conditions and tough terrain.

I had to give my entrance to the Endurance Festival Dual yesterday to a friend because I have been sick since last Wednesday. Bummer! Finally went out today for a short ride. I couldn't stand it anymore. Yesterday my mind said "go" and body said "NO". I think I will hit the couch for the rest of the day.
