I'm in! Been doing Weight Watchers for a couple of years, but have been stuck on a looooooooooooong plateau.

Current weight is 174.9, have a very modest goal of getting to below 170 (and STAYING there!) by the end of the challenge.

I am back from my month long ride in Oregon and want to join in, too. 127 headed for 125. Thanks Posse for doing this again, and again, and....

My starting weight is 241.8 and my goal weight is 230. I am on a new eating plan to try and reduce the inflammation I have in my body and if all goes like planned (and I stick to it...because its very strict the first 28 days at least) I should lose quite a bit.

I had a good first last saturday! I road just over 45 miles!

    How this works:

    1. People let me know if they want to play along
    2. Once a week people post their weights - I list Friday as the weigh in day, but some folks have a Weight Watchers weigh in or just have a day they prefer to weigh, so no biggie, just weigh in Friday or someday around it
    3. At the start of the challenge most folks also give me a goal weight for the 8-week period. Some find that having a goal and not making it sets them back and would rather just try and lose without a written goal. That is also totally fine. The point of this is to help folks, so whatever helps you all, is just fine by me!
    4. I put the info in a spreadsheet that I will post a link to. As it is still in the sing-up phase, I find it easier to wait until the first official weigh-in to post it. Then I try and post at least once a page in the thread with the links, to make it easier for folks to find it.

Any more questions, just ask! And welcome to any and all new folks!

    It's Friday!

OK, starting at 123 (ok a bit up from last weigh in).
So I have an 8 pound weight loss goal.
That is a pound of week. I better get cranking!

    198.5.

Looks like I took a few steps backwards.

    Goal: 189

I'd really, really, really like to lose 10 lbs by Nov 7--I have a big mountain bike race that day. Losing 10 pounds would help a ton.

Here is the sheet. First link may require a sign-in but the second one should not. Let me know if there are any glitches. Left a lot of blank lines in there where folks from last go around would have been listed. I'll clean that up in another week or so, just giving folks time to jump back on in before I do that.
