    SRAM Chain & PowerLock Recall

    The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recently announced the following recall for SRAM 10-speed chains with PowerLink connectors: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml09/09342.html.

    Mine is an H, so I'm good. Thanks for the heads up!

    My lbs said to make sure to check both sides of the powerlink since they can be different letters.

    maybe that is why my SRAM chain was ready to snap when I took into a shop. Couldn't figure out why it was shifting all on its own or not shifting at all... The pin had worked its way loose and held the chain together with plate on one side only. That would have been a bad day...
