I vote for doughty. I'm not even sure how to pronounce it (doubt-ee? doe-tee? doff-tee?) but that hardly matters as it will only be used in digital communication.

Everyone is so far behind me.

I don't know how long I've been saying it.
    It's not epic.
    It's not super.
    It's super-mega.

Sorry, but I'm going to nix that one. It's pronounced nearly the same as dowdy. Can you imagine?

"Wow, that was a doughty ride!"
"Oh, that bites, I've been luck enough to never have a dowdy ride."
"What?!? You've never really had a doughty ride? Sucks for you!"
"You dowdy woman! What the heck are you talking about?"
"Gee, thanks, but I'm not sure I deserve that compliment."
"Never mind. Let's talk about baseball."

LOL! Good laugh w/ my morning coffee!

Maybe there are varying degrees of an "epic" or "super" ride (date, day, adventue, etc). Like a spectrum. Not that I know what it would be. But "super" feels like it was more middle of the road.

Great, fun, wow, super, awesome, ah man killer!

That is how I think of it...(again, not sure I have ever had "epic"--maybe pretty darn close, but not the pinnacle of rides/adventures. I like to think there is more and even better to come!)

I'm not using super instead of epic until there are epic feminine hygiene products. And as far as that goes, nothing tops "overnight."

Hmmm.....so it could go something like this: "Today's ride was only a little epic, but last Saturday's was WAAAYYYY epic! Yesterday, well, that was barely epic at all. It was short, flat, slow, and wasn't even scenic - boring, really." I like it!

I may just cling to epic for everything in my life! Like my epic summer of sitting on my butt, with a broken ankle. I did have an epic 10 minute warmup on the stationary bike before PT yesterday.

Oh - and I am very pleased to say that I have never required epic feminine hygiene products!

That's groovy! Or as we said in the 80s, b*tchin' (as in "b*tchin' camaro" -- one of my favorite songs!)

OMG another Dead Milkmen fan??? That super, uber, mega, giga, epic cool!
