I feel really out of touch! I should listen to the radio more... I usually park it on the classic rock station or NPR. Not learning any new music there!

    Here's my "running" playlist:
    Rocky Horror Picture Show
    Woman -- Wolfmother
    Jump -- Loverboy
    Rosalita - Bruce Springsteen
I've Been Working Too Hard -- Southside Johnny
    Mas Tequila --- Sammy Hagar
    Devil Inside -- INXS
Dead Man's Party -- Oingo Boingo
Love 4 Sale -- Bon Jovi
Don't Tell Me You Love Me -- Night Ranger
Let's Get it Started - Black Eyed Peas
Everybody Wants You -- Billy Squier
Rock and Roll All Night -- Kiss
Light it On Fire -- Cowboy Mouth
Talk Dirty To Me -- Poison
Bank Robber Man -- Lenny Kravitz
    VooDoo Thing -- Colin James
A Little Less Conversation -- Elvis Presley

I tend to be an 80's Rocker Girl!
But I CAN branch out -- I just have to be exposed. I'm taking a listen to some that you all have posted! THANKS!

The main demographic for radio these days is males 50+. Plus unless you're in one of the 4-5 largest cities in the country, it's all syndicated anyway. Not going to hear any new music on the radio anyways. Unless you mean web radio.

I get most of my new music from reading actually, in B*tch magazine (hate having to star that title out, but the forum software makes me ) or in the news, occasionally on small label websites. If I like what I read, I'll listen to some clips, and if I like what I hear, I'll buy an album. Or sometimes I'll go to B&N (yeah, I know, best we've got around here) and listen to what they've got on display. On rare occasions the iTunes free song of the week is good enough for me to pursue more from the artist. But that's pretty rare.
