    What a beautiful sculpture. It seems very Tucson!
    Hiking, Biking, Paddling, Swimming, Surfing, & Running to my heart's content (or at least trying).

    I hadn't heard about this! I'll have to go check it out.

    I find Tucson to be, if not always bike friendly, very bike accessible. As coyote points out there are some shortcomings--as there must be anywhere--but overall there are many bike lanes and bikeways to be found and improvements/expansions being made to existing ones. For example, I commute to/from school on a designated bikeway--a residential street that has limited auto traffic, special traffic light actuators for cyclists, etc. It's pretty fantastic.
