I bought a small storage shed for my balcony that is big enough to fit my mountain bike with the tires removed. It should work to protect the bike from moisture.
Should I be worried about temperature extremes? For those who keep bikes in a shed or other place that's not climate controlled, are there issues caused by cold or hot temps, like damage to cables or anything like that?
Thanks

Ours are in the garage - all over it. Between the junk, the tools and all the biking stuff, we no longer park our car in there. The previous owner had 4 hooks in the ceiling for bikes, so we use those. One bike is usually on the work stand and the rest are propped up around the rest of the garage. I think we have 8 or 9 right now (most belong to my H), but that is constantly changing as he's got a sickness when it comes to bike.![]()
I may suggest that we move the good weather road bikes into the basement once the winter rain arrives. It would be more secure down there, I think.
