Alrighty! I just made a reservation for 5 people for Saturday, August 29th and I'll let y'all know when it's confirmed. I also asked if we could add more people to our reservation and they said that's fine as long as it's done more than 48 hours in advance. So, if anyone would still like to join in, let me know before Thursday.

I'll pm everyone involved about payment.

A lady on craigslist just bought my whitewater boat from me, cycles as well, and I was telling her about your trip & she thought she'd want to come. So I'll email her this link to see if she does.

    We are confirmed:

Thank you for choosing River Riders for your full day tubing trip for 5 people on 08/29 at 11am. We have charged your card for the full amount. Please plan to arrive at least 1 hour prior to your trips departure time [So we need to be there at 10:00am]. Your help is needed. Please carpool as much as possible. We have very limited parking, especially on weekends. Besides, it's good for the environment

Also please make sure everybody dresses appropriately and wears shoes that will stay attached to their feet (no bare feet), and bring a change of clothes for afterwards.

For more details on what you will need for your trip you can go to www.riverriders.com/bring.htm and for directions to us please see www.riverriders.com/directions.htm.
Just to reiterate, if anyone decides they'd like to join us, let me know before Thursday.

Holy moly! It took 93 posts and 2-1/2 months to make a reservation for 5 people to go tubing?

As my mother likes to put it, sometimes getting people organized is like herding cats.

It was iffy last year, too, but turned out ok. We experienced it all!

    Lotsa fun!

The Shenandoah was nice but not too exciting; a little drizzle early but the skies cleared later. The Potomac was like last year, but without the drama of popped tubes, etc.

Laying face up in the sun for a few hours went a long way towards evening up my tan

Sammi loves the white water! We got separated from Janice and Sarah but stayed fairly near Tam.

It definitely was a fun day, though a long one. And I'm with Sammi, the whitewater sections are a blast.

You got some great shots of the cliffs, Nicole.

So, for next year, where can we go to get MORE whitewater?!
