We got back from Glacier National park Wednesday night. We did one ride the 5 days we were there, it was a family vacation and I didn't want to leave the kids at the campsite with nothing to do. But what a ride it was! This was one of those 10 best things I have ever done. We rode 15 miles out from our campground, and 15 miles back, going east to west on Going to the Sun road, and then turned around and went back.We did not make it to the top of Logan Pass because of timing issues, and the fact that I am not comfortable going back Down that kind of incline! If I can figure out how to post pictures, I will.

Oh, and the downhill west to east off of Logan Pass is probably the scariest downhill I've ever done. At that point it is very steep with unprotected tight switch backs. You made the right choice so that you could enjoy the ride. Those views over St. Mary Lake are simply gorgeous.
