    Haha. I laughed out loud at the package comment.

    1.2 miles is a good workout, especially into that current!! It's amazing what a strong current does to your swimming, it really is like swimming uphill or on a treadmill. I imagine one of those endless pools.

    You really should try swimming with others and grabbing a package or two...

    Seriously- your second OWS and you swam a half iron distance? Impressive to say the least! Sounds like it was good swim- and how cool is that to hear dolphins in the water? I'm immensely jealous (but certainly not of the rip currents and waves).

    I have always looooved the ocean. But only in the play in the waves, body-surfing sort of way. Now that I learned how to really swim, it's like heaven.

    Funny, if I had never been in a car accident I never would have gotten in a pool for recovery. Life's tragedies can be turned into blessings.
