Wanted to trade: Your run time for my swim time.

Anita! That sounds like it went GREAT. And it sounded like a tough course, too. So...welcome to the land of obsession! I especially love the part in your report about the finish. Whee! Congratulations.

You can do BlackTail first next year, as your warm-up.

OOH thanks ladies! You all know how to make a person feel good. What a neat group of people you all are.

Alex: You need to come to Idaho next year and do the Rush!

mtomm: I had looked at the Blacktail and I was told that there were snakes in the water and I had a freak out and couldn't deal with my first ows and the thought of snakes! Is it true?? and have you done it? I heard it was tough. tell us all about it.

Here is a link to the pictures. I am number 82. I have not found pictures from the swim. I can't fgure out how to just show mine. Sorry.

I know nothing about triathlons only that people do participate in them.

Actually the snakes will all be scared away with that many people in the water so I'm sure you'd be fine.

I had an issue at first with the snake thing because the lake I did my first ows was also the same one we fish in. I have seen many snakes. Once I thought about it and all the commotion....i agree....they will all be scared away.

That would be fun! I love that part of Idaho. There are tons of races down here, too, if you are looking to come south.
