Excellent job, Anita!!!! YOU ARE A TRIATHLETE!!!!

Really, aside from the swim- it sounds like the race was really great for you (and you did well on the swim, but I know that's one area you'd like to improve). Nice job on that hilly course. I don't think I could've kept up with you. I liked the battle between you and the other woman at the end. You hung in there!

Way to go!!!!! Do you have any pictures to share?

Awesome job!! Did it advertise that it was "Scenic" because that's the new keyword for "hilly"

Great work on the bike and run, and good job toughing out the swim (at least you weren't backstroking over other people? ). Sometimes it's much nicer to have room to improve than beating yourself up over the few seconds you could have done differently.

    Congrats!!

Thanks ladies! I will post the event pictures when they are available. I also found out I was only 8 minutes behind the first place lady in my age group.

    Congratulations!!! Great report!

I found the race results online and it is pretty obvious that after you work on your swim this winter, you will be a force to be reckoned with! Your bike and run times are already SO good! WOOHOO!!!

P.S. I need to work on my swim AND my run this winter...

Wanted to trade: Your run time for my swim time.

Anita! That sounds like it went GREAT. And it sounded like a tough course, too. So...welcome to the land of obsession! I especially love the part in your report about the finish. Whee! Congratulations.

Great job! That run time is pretty darn good for uphill.
