I have read Jaynes book, it was what inspired me and now I am friends with her on facebook and have chatted with her a few times! I loooooove her book.

I am feeling a bit bruised because of some negative comments on my blog , but there have been some nice people who have stepped up and defended me. Haha.

Good luck on your first tri! Just remember all that matters is that you have fun. I started out unfit like you and am amazed at the transformation I have made. Just listen to your body and you will do fine.

So I'll say what every one else has... have fun. And I'll go on to say that there are a lot of really bright ladies here with a great diversity of experience. Ask for help and you shall receive it.
