I agree!! I love the sound of Fall. That is one thing I miss about living in upstate NY vs CO is all the leaves in the Fall. It captured all my senses..except for taste of course.

I admit that I am almost always listening to tunes when I commute or train on the road. It somehow adds to my fun. But as for music, it's the most eclectic mix ever. I have everything in my player from classical, opera, early (renaissance) music, all kinds of rock and metal, and even death metal (Slipknot, Sepultura). Everything in between like 70s pop (Neil Diamond, Anne Murray), reggae, folk (Peter, Paul & Mary, Joan Baez, Judy Collins) current metal, modern pop (Celine Dion : 0). You name it, it all adds to the fun!

I like to listen to music and my surrounding. But sometimes the music motivates me. I have all kinds of music on my mp3 player. Duran duran, John Butler trio, Stan ridgeway, Chris Isaak, police,,Beatles, stone temple pilots and the sound track from the True Blood show on HBO. If you like bluegrass it's great!

I've read that it's dangerous to listen to headphones, and I can certainly see why, so I don't, but I often have a soundtrack in my head, and it seems to be completely out of my control. It's partial to oldies. (I am old, after all.)
