Lately my artist of choice had been Jackie Greene - he's an up and coming blues/jazz/rock/whatever musician. I just love his voice.

I do have a rather eclectic taste in music, though, so it's not unusual for my play list to include to also include, Diana Krall, Billy Joel, Queen, Frank Sinatra, sound tracks from Broadway, and Jimmy Buffett to name a few.
I never heard of Jackie Greene. I just played one of his songs on youtube. He is pretty good. I have not listened to the radio in quite some time...not including NPR. Maybe I should start listening again.

Glad you like him. I'm seeing him in concert this Thursday - he's not quite made it to the radio, but I think he will soon. It's a tough market to break into. Glad to be spreading the word.

I think it's dangerous to listen to music while riding. tribogota just wrote a perfect example of the reasons why. I find that if I'm going along at a good pace with the wind in my ears I can hardly hear traffic behind me as it is, nevemind having the distraction of music as well.
I do listen to music a lot on the turbo trainer and while travelling by foot safely on the pavement. I like bands such as Linkin Park, Papa Roach & Evanesence. I also like quieter stuff depending on my mood. I still enjoy Abba, Bob Marley, country music and classical music. so I like quite a wide range.
