    Shingles? (Hope not.)

It's not a typical location for shingles, but my son just had a case up and down his left arm. So it's not always on the torso. The burning sensation kinda tips it off. Go to the doctor. It takes a long time to go away. You could make use of some prednisone if that's what it is.

+1 on doctor. There are so many things it could be. I was going to suggest pityriasis rosea. But a dermatologist will probably be able to take one look at you and give you a definite diagnosis and treatment plan.

One thing I always try: take a benadryl or put benadryl cream on it. If it goes away, it's probably an allergic reaction to something.

Is this happening when you are riding in the heat?

Maybe prickly heat. I get it on my thighs just, and I do mean just, below my shorts. I also get it along the creases where my legs and torso meet. I found a suggestion on TE for cortisone creme, and that has been working.
