    my temporary pet

Well, he's only temporary, since I'll have to set him free outside in an hour or two....but I discovered my unexpected 'pet' this morning when I glanced up at my window here in my upstairs office at home.
    He's so CUTE!!!!

I love all that mane! He is beautiful. In Santa Fe, we used to get bats down our chimney's sometimes - they weren't nearly as pretty as yours. But, we went out and bought a bird net to help us safely catch them and get them out of the house. We got it at a big petstore.
    Thanks for the photos.

yes, I simply dropped a towel over him and gently took him outside....he made all those funky squeaking clicking sounds....then he flew away happily.

Glad my cats never noticed him!

    Cute!
I only get to see bats when I run pre-dawn. Love seeing them flit around the lights. Not sure how I feel about having one in the house.
    But he was cute!

Wow, I'd never call a bat cute until I saw those pictures. Fluffy little guy...

Speaking of fluffy sweetness, this is Margo, last Sunday. She has grown since.....
