Ha ha ha... well, according to my Garmin on one of my last rides it shows my HR "flat lined" in my graph. Hmm... in the ER a "flat line" is an indication of death. Maybe the Garmin was really right since I felt like I was going to *die* on that particular hill!?!?

My ride today was just inside teaching my Spin class. Fun and tough--we did a "race day". While my roadie steed got a new bottom bracket from her owner's mishap cleaning procedure... needed from rainy w/e ride previously--see flat line comment. But... I really wasn't trying to kill my bike.
