My friend had serious complications (infection requiring repeat surgery for debridement, plus lots of debilitating antibiotics), plus there was something I don't quite understand about his shoulder that meant they had to install the implant differently from how it normally goes in. So it was the better part of a year for him, but please don't take that as a prediction for yourself!

There is an ebb and flow to healing and some days you will feel stronger and then other days you'll need more rest. Take it easy, listen to your body, and when the time is right it will let you know when it's time to get back on the bike. ((((Twin))))
