    Change Gearing

    Thanks, tulip.

    I'll have to head down to the LBS and see if they even carry the individual rear cogs. The roadie's hub is the freewheel and the gearing is changed by swapping individual cogs. Then I'll have to see how much the short derailler will handle.

    I do miss riding the roadie.

    The short derailleur should handle a 27 without any problem. Best of luck and enjoy the ride.
