    That's a very cool looking bike. Oh and I have bar end shifters too and I can be in my aero bars and shift.

    Thanks everyone for your fun comments. I got quite a chuckle reading them. I'm still getting used to the bar end shifters--I forget which way to go to shift.

    So for those of you who have bar end shifters, did you wrap tape on your top tube to keep the shifters from dinging it?

    Gonna go for a dirt road ride.

    What a stud!

    I have bar end shifters on my touring/cross/whatever bike and they don't scratch the top tube, though I have banged a knee into one, on occasion.

    I like bar end shifting, though. Give it some time!
    I can do five more miles.
