pretty bike - that looks like a specialized ruby saddle. is it the right width for your seatbones? The ruby isn't so padded, so i find it takes a few rides for my butt to adjust to them. But I do wear padded shorts with it.

is this the seat...
that came with the bike? Others may disagree, but I have found that "original" seats are not top-quality. Or maybe they are for some, but they don't suit everyone. If you like your old saddle, change the new one out for that one, or a new one of the same make.

If I'm not mistaken your Ruby came with a ladies Toupe and I've heard it can be a hard saddle to break in. Don't be afraid to try other saddles.
Some Specialized dealers have a Butt-O-Meter to measure the width of your sitbones. Perhaps you need a different width.

my saddle is hard too but it is wide enough to support my sit bones. Important for comfort for sure.
