What is the biggest lie you've ever told: Hmmm...not sure. That's a toughie!

Most memorable moment on my bike: crashing into my brother when we were around 10 & 15 or so... We were riding around a campground in Canada. I was fine, he got all banged up.

Most fun ever had on a bike? This morning! My first ride that wasn't on neighborhood roads! (did I mention I'm REALLY new?!)

Favorite bike: The last bike I loved to ride had a plastic basket on the front and streamers on the handlebars. Now, I'm working on learning to ride without worrying about falling off.

What's in your stable? Trek Pilot something or other, Trek mountain bike.

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? Not very. Going fast on my "road" bike makes me think about how much it would hurt if I crash.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: Can't think of one off the top of my head. When I was little, I used to tell people that I was born in Antarctica just to see if they believed me, though...


Most memorable moment on my bike: being knocked off my bike by a tree branch on my first bike ride with my then boyfriend (now husband). I still have 2 ugly scars on my knee to remember it by!

Favorite bike: My blue Kona Jake the Snake. It was the first 105 bike I bought, and was a near perfect fit from day one. It has been a blast to ride, and although I have added to my stable, it is still my go to bike. And the decals glow in the dark.

What's in your stable? Lemond Versaille, Kona Jake the Snake, Trek 4500 MTB

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? Probably a 25 mph descent during my first triathlon. I am very grateful I knew how to corner. Fast is very cool, being out of control is not.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: How I got my first hickey, I have never asked my mom if she bought the story, because being a nurse I am pretty sure she didn't. After that I figured out to just not say anything at all, unless she asked first.


Most memorable moment on my bike: My first mountain bike ride with my (now)fiance. My old mtb was too big and he is a more experienced mtb rider than I (just learning). I was miserable for the entire 9 mile loop, and when we got back to his car I said nothing. I just knew he was trying to kill me, and he just knew we were breaking up. Two weeks later the bike got sold, and 6 moths later he helped me buy a bike that fit. We still laugh about that ride.

I am eternally grateful to the bike gods for giving me sufficient challenges so I could figure out just how strong I really am (or stupid and reckless if you ask my mom )

Most fun ever had on a bike? commuting home in the pelting rain at midnight on fixed gear with hardly any traffic about.

What's in your stable? Since I just started *collecting*, umm...just the new one and my old POC mtb that I use to commute
Fastest speed on a road bike- 18.5 mph on the flat (we don't have much in the way of hills here) so far without even trying hard...it was so fast I was a little scared to go faster, but I think I could pretty easily.

Biggest lie you've ever told? I suck at it so I just don't lie much....anyone could play poker with me!

Favorite bike: My first one since I was a kid, and I just bought it last month, Specialized Dolce

What's in your stable? Specialized Dolce and would like to find a cheap commuter bike to use fr grocery store trips and such.

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? Love going fast downhill! My fastest so far was only about 25 mph going downhill on a local hill I'm practicing my climbing on.

Most memorable moment on my bike: I don't know if I have one yet since I've only been riding a month. I ran over a little snake once, does that count? Yesterday I completed my longest bike ride yet at 30 miles, gotta work my way up to doing 100 miles. My goal is to do the Seattle to Portland ride next summer.
