I decided to ride my road bike to an appointment in W. Concord (6 miles) and do the rest of my ride afterwards, since it is going to be 90 later and it's humid. When I left the office, I thought, hmm, I should use the rest room, but I wanted to just go. My goal was to ride in as shady of an area as I could! I still had to use the bathroom when I passed the visitor's center with a bathroom and headed out toward my house. I didn't want to go home, but didn't want to do my regular loop, so I hit some back roads that I usually do in the opposite direction. It was really nice, as long as I stayed in the shade. I must say, it's really humid; my shorts were just drenched with sweat and I could barely get my jersey off it was so wet.
