"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside thoroughly used-up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: WOW WHAT A RIDE!!!!"
Another race! You're a machine! Congrats on a great finish!

Colby, great report and great showing! I love the pics, especially the newspaper one.
"My predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure." O. Sacks
Great pictures!!! KSH is right- you got some major quad/leg muscles, girl. You look so great- how is it that your hair is perfectly pony-tailed on the run? Mine always looks like I just got in a fight with a cat when I race.

Haha, I just caught the commentary here on my pictures. I was asking a friend how I could have so many muscles in there and still be so squishy. I guess they are there when I need them, and that's what counts.Running always makes my legs look so muscular, but I look at them in the bike pictures and they just look big. Something about when that shot was taken was EXACTLY the point when all those muscles engaged.
I have no idea how my hair stays in the ponytail - maybe because it was wet and hotI had JUST got it cut so my bangs want to creep out of the ponytail, especially when I have to put the bike helmet over it and it can't entirely stay contained.
