Hey guys,
Went to a bike clinic and they gave me a promo handout from these folks: http://www.plus3network.com
Log your miles and their sponsors will donate a few cents for every mile you ride. So far it looks like all you have to do is ride and log your miles. Sponsors seem to write "grants" of like $10,0000 and that's how the dollars are generated and donated.
If you have a Garmin (probably cus it can verify your miles), you actually make a few more cents towards the non-profit you choose. It's part of why I jumped on BBTulsa's Colorado Cyclist deal.. since I was on the fence anyway bout the 705.
Many of non-profits are all filled up but there are still some open..
I dunno. Figured I'm riding.. might as well have the miniscule miles I log go towards something.
Push the pedal down watch the world around fly by us

I'm on there. Have 'earned' almost $100 for the Breast Cancer fund, and just like them for logging miles.
They have challenges every once in a while - I've gotten socks, seatpost bag, more socks, and I'm working for a beanie cap.
I'm very impressed with this organization - whenever I have a problem with software, they're quick to respond and really help work towards a solution. Nice folks, and a great way to give back.
For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.
