Please tell me how to post a picture

I would like to put a picture on the thread about pets, but when I click on the little picture above, the one that says "insert image", it just makes a funny little noise. Cut and paste doesn't work either. FAQ's doesn't say anything about pictures. How are you guys doing this???

do you have a photobucket or flickr or similar account?
I think the easiest way is to take an img from such an account and attach it
"" - without the quotes - right click on my photo below then properties and see what the http link that I put between the two bracketed img looks like - so it's bracket IMG closed bracket http link jpg bracket /img bracket

gosh, I hope that isn't even more confusing!
Or right click on my image and choose copy image location - you can do that with any image on the web, but you'll get in trouble because of using someone else's bandwidth. Still, what you past will show you what you need between the bracketed img and /img.

If you don't have a photo sharing account you can hotlink from, you can upload an attachment to your message... scroll down to the button that says "Manage Attachments" and go from there. You have fewer message formatting options with an attachment, and it'll be tagged "attached image," but it works.
