If Tomgrrrl is around she could talk to you about these, I know from another thread that she has them on all three of her bikes and says they are very comfy.

I have a RX here which I got for a good price but am yet to try. Ive got a new bike arriving in Nov which I thought I might try it out on but with all this talk I may give it a whirl on my road bike.
The most effective way to do it, is to do it.

    Serfa RX

After trying various saddles, Terry, WTB, Specialized I spied the Serfa RX at a local bike shop and thought "voila!" It basically has a cutout the entire length of the saddle.....they come in men's and women's versions, the women's being a bit shorter and slightly wider....At any rate, out of all the saddles I've tried, they are by far the best (for me). I think for many it's a matter of trial and error, but I knew what parts were bothering me and the Serfa RX eliminated that issue....I rode 65 miles last week on a brand new Serfa RX (on a new bike) and it was fine (even though I forget my chamois butter!)...At any rate, with that said, we everyone is built differently so it may not be the best saddle for you....they make lots of other saddles that look comfy.

    Good luck!
