I have my Specialized Ruby ready to list on eBay, I can pull her out, change out my cleats on my shoes, and ride her if I get desperate...but I need to sell her (especially now!). She is all cleaned up, checked by the shop, and ready to go, so I would rather not. I will spend some time on the MTB trails and hit the gym.
They don't make the Star forks (1") anymore, but I see them often on ebay. Some have white graphics, some yellow, so you can even match your bike! I think they make the Force or Street forks still in 1", and while not as nice as the Star forks, you'll still have a full Colnago bike on the road. Good luck!
