Well after last Sunday's ride (it's Sunday here today) was cancelled due to snow, it was bliss to do 55ks in the SUNSHINE! Only had to wear four layers of clothing and fingers were so warm I was able to shed the second pair of glovesFirst 20ks was fast, just barely hanging on to the club group, then we beginners took a turnoff and did the rest at a much more leisurely pace

Neck/back pain is slowly lessening. It's so nice to be trying to ignore lactic acid type pain in my quads and not a dagger down the side of my spine![]()
Oh, and a question: how do you open a Clif bar wrapper while riding, if you're not able to ride no-handed (working on that one)? Thought I'd cracked a tooth at one point. Homemade biscuits in a plastic bag were much more accessible
