Hi Hub,

The de facto recommendation around here is the Topeak Road Morph. I happen to own one of these myself, and here's why:

- even someone as weak and mechanically challenged as I am can easily use the Road Morph to get tire pressures up to 100psi or more.
- it has a handy-dandy built in gauge see what your tire pressure is as you're pumping
- it has a little foot attachment thingy(TM) so you can get extra leverage with your foot
- works on presta or shraeder valves

The Road Morph comes with a plastic mount that attaches where one of your water bottle cages goes. I have successfully used this to carry my Road Morph on a carbon Trek for the past 3 years. You can also use zip ties to attach the mount to your top tube, or some other place.

The pump is fairly long, and I'm fairly (OK, really) short and have the requisite small bike. Therefore, the pump will not fit within the seat tube of my 47cm Trek. So...if you're short, it can be challenging to find a suitable place to attach the Road Morph.
