Oh yeah, I totally understand WHY they did it and how it works in the grand scheme of things. I just don't like it. My personal opinion (and as a spectator who has no vested interest other than being entertained) is that once you get to the finish, you race to the line...no gifts. But, I fully understand that's just not how it works anymore.
