We had high humidity and heat this past week. Yesterday it was 100% humidity, and the day before 92% so whatever the temperature was I had to add about 8 degrees more.A cool front moved through and it was in the 60's this morning.
Ahhhhhh. My bike speeds were much better and I didn't feel like I was riding in a sauna. Honestly, as hot as it gets here (in the 100's) I don't know why I would ever want to ride the HHH.
Wanted to add: I found wearing a cap under my helmet makes me feel cooler by keeping the sun of my head--even though my helmet is well ventilated. I've noticed that when I don't, I have sunburn on my part. The cap also keeps sweat out of my eyes.
