I just found this website, check it out, I think this is great:
www.cycle-dog.com we all can send our damaged bike tubes to them.
This small company makes dog collars out of old bike tubes...have a look, they look amazing.
To bad I don't have a dog, I would support them...

I have an Alchemy Goods Ad Bag - it's awesome - super strong and holds a TON
It only has recycled tires on the handles though.
